Scarlet Poppy has been established since 1994, delivering beautiful couture gowns to brides for nearly twenty years. Joanne Anderson and Kate Chapman, the owners of Scarlet Poppy, have one singular aim – to make brides happy. Customer care is paramount in the boutique followed closely by the quality of the product. Since graduating with a degree in fashion design and pattern cutting, Kate teamed up with Joanne to make Scarlet Poppy the destination shop for couture in the North. Their dedicated team will be with you every step of the way in the build up to your wedding- on hand to reassure with help, advice and a large glass of champagne! They see their role as more than simply ‘a dress shop’, they hope to create memories you will treasure forever. They have built our reputation on honest advice, quality product and the relationship with their brides- and don’t intend to alter that now!
The couture sewing room is on site so the gowns are created next to the beautiful viewing area where you are invited peruse and try on the gowns. Scarlet Poppy stock collections by Augusta Jones and Tara Keely also, for brides who want to buy a gown from these gorgeous, well respected labels.
Appointments available 9.30 - 6.00 Monday to Friday and 9.30 - 5.00 on Saturdays with evening appointments available on request.
